Landed in Rodney bay, St Lucia @ 1100 am today after a Great sail from dominica. the landscape, seas, skies, and wind were all collectively the best yet. Green flash last night and too many rainbows to count. Pix to come soon.

storm forming off Africa is telling us to get south.  so Thurs it looks like we go for St. Lucia and  a little protection.

Sat 8/13/11

After sailing to Nevis from sxm we got word of a potential system coming our way so we were off to Dominica after only a day looking at the sombrero shaped island
Wind was in our favor for our best sail yet. ENE winds put us right on course for portsmouth bay in north Dominica. where we dropped anchor at approx 1200 hrs Hello Dominica. More details to come (pix too)

Sunset sail postponed for a day due to customs and immigration deciding they justchange hours so okay heres what we get to look at until then.. not a bad delay

Mon 8/8/11

After getting the last little bit of St Maarten things done we plan on a sunset sail to Nevis where we should arrive a little after sunrise weather permitting

Sun 8/7/11

Nice day of R&R before enjoying bacon wrapped treats at the Karakter beach bar (everything's better with bacon). Then live music and corona party just a short stroll down the beach... friendly staff, great conversation. Good times

Sat 8/6/11

A little Boat cleaning here , damage assessment there. Then took a St Maarten exploration day, which took us to the sunset grill for a few drinks.

fri 8/5/11

after a rough night of crossing the anegada passage. we dropped anchor in Simpson bay, St Maarten. rested up after a long night of heavy winds and wallowing seas. Zephyr took quite the beating, not to mention the crew.
